Sub-series consists of documents relating to land; appointment of interpreters; population returns; distribution of supplies and presents; a plan relating to future management of Indian Affairs, 1764; draft reports and miscellaneous correspondence. The sub-series is arranged in chronological order.

(Electronic) Finding aid 10-1 is a computer generated volume list. Records now found in volumes 1834-1835 were originally contained in a volume bearing a different volume number. The movement of the records from that container to volumes 1834-1835 occurred only after the records were microfilmed. As a result, the microfilm copy of these records identifies them according to their "old" designation. Researchers using the microfilm should note that the records identified on the reels as being contained in volume 15 are the records known today as volumes 1834-1835. 10-1
