Harmonie Home Fashions : Harmonie Home Fashions Incorporated was established in 1985 as a joint venture between Wabasso Canada Incorporated and Daisy Decorative Products Limited. Harmonie manufactured sheets, curtains and other bedrooms fashions for upscale department stores. In 1987, Wabasso Canada (a subsidiary of Dominion Textile) bought all of Daisy's shares and entered into another partnership with Scythes Incorporated. When Wabasso Canada merged into the Dominion Consumer Company later that year, Dominion Textile assumed managerial control of Harmonie Home Fashions. It later acquired all outstanding shares, then proceeded to wind up the company. The Harmonie Home Fashion plant closed in 1988, and the company was dissolved in 1989.
