Brianyl Ltd : Brianyl Limited was established in 1969 as a joint venture between Dominion Textile, Textiles Briand of France and Mose Tari, a Montreal businessman. Based in Drummondville, Quebec, the plant manufactured texturized yarn for the pantyhose and knitting industry. Dominion Textile acquired the outstanding stock of Brianyl in 1971 during the double-knit boom and integrated Brianyl's operations with Exquisite Knitting Mills (Canada) Limited, which was subsequently merged into Lana Knit. Brianyl's Drummondville plant was sold to Penmans Limited, and company operations were concluded in 1974.
