Board of Topographical Surveys and Maps : In an attempt to coordinate the mapping activities of the Surveyor General, the Geological Survey of Canada and the Department of Militia and Defence, the Board of Topographical Surveys and Maps was established (P.C. 540, 8 March 1922).
