Sub-series consists of various statements relating to funds loaned to municipalities under the provisions of the Land Improvement Act (16 Vic., Cap. 159). Most material dates from the period between 1855 and 1860. Volume 2528 is a ledger containing information as to sums of money expended in townships within each counties for lands, grammar schools, etc., from 1855 to 1860. Volumes 2529 and 2530 are journals containing the same information entered chronologically.
