The records include national/international passenger fare (tariff) notices produced by Canadian National Railways, Grand Trunk Railway, etc. for distribution to participating carriers. As examples, certain CN-generated notices pertain to special rates for emergency harvests/farm help in Western Canada, post-harvest return of British Columbia workers to Ontario and Quebec, exhibitions, air pageants, Christmas and New Years holidays and Japanese evacuation during the period 1942-1950.
