Indian and Inuit Affairs Program (Canada). Brantford District Office : Following the creation of the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development in 1966, agencies were joined to form larger administrative units called districts. The Six Nations Agency became the Brantford District Office 15 October 1969. Brantford was responsible for: Mississaugas of the Credit (1969-1989), Six Nations of the Grand River (1969-1989).
