The sub-series consists of five files containing undated translations into the Cree language (written in Roman characters, not Cree syllabics) of various parts of the "Book of Common Prayer": the Epistles for most of the Sundays and holy days in the Church's year, written on rough foolscap sheets (vol. 1, file 26); two small exercise books containing neater versions of the Epistles and Gospels for the Sundays and holy days of the Church's year, together with the Articles of Religion 1-6 and 7-26 (vol. 1, file 27); and a less well bound exercise book containing the Articles of Religion 27-39, Declaration, Preface, Commination, and various Prayers for the Governor General, Legislature of the Dominion, and Provincial Legislature (vol. 2, file 28); and two files containing two copies of foolscap drafts of Psalms 1:1-19:15 from the Psalter (vol. 2, files 29-30).
