Series consists of material relating to projects in which editor Gail Fisher-Taylor participated. Files contain information, memos and minutes of meetings concerning the Board of Directors of the Toronto Photographers' Workshop at Harbourfront; information on the organization of the "Nine Plus Five" series of lectures and workshops organized by Photo Communique, Ryerson and the Toronto Photographers' Workshop; material on the Toronto Documentary Photography Project which includes original proposals by such artists as Karl Beveridge and Carol Conde, Michael Mitchell, Tom and Martha Henrickson and Arnaud Maggs; the Arts Community Computer Network Project which connected many arts organizations.

Series consists of a large amount of information on the organization of a very successful photography conference entitled "Talking Pictures" which featured photographers Nan Goldin, Lynn Cohen, Robert Del Tredici, Liz Magor and Tony Mendoza, and critics A.D. Coleman, Barbara Norfleet, Gary Hall, Sue Davies and Michael Newman; and a book publishing project which the Halocene Foundation pursued but was unable to realize.
