This sub-series contains the files of Richard Préfontaine, who worked in the PMO as Co-ordinator Caucus Liaison for Quebec until his promotion to National Co-ordinator of the Caucus Liaison in 1993.

The textual records are organized alphabetically by M.P. under the heading "Caucus Files", and alphabetically by individual, organization, event or subject under the heading "General Files". Both the "Caucus" and "General" files contain correspondence, briefing material, memoranda, reports, press clippings, résumés, itineraries and other documentation that relate primarily to Richard Préfontaine's position as Quebec caucus liaison. The files continue and complement the material in the Camille Guilbault sub-series (P 15-1).

The electronic records contain daily staff agenda, staff correspondence, caucus correspondence and memoranda to the Prime Minister, trip itineraries, travel expenses and caucus agendas.
