Sub-series consists of typescripts, manuscript notes, production scripts, printed material, correspondence, sound recordings and other material relating to Ted Allan's writings for CBC and other radio. Included are files on "Autumn Fare", "Canadians at Work", "Ted Allan's Classroom", "Crystal Ball", "Life With the Robinsons", "Love, Hate, Etcetra" and "Tales That People Tell", as well as other programmes. Also included are typescripts and correspondence relating to pieces Allan wrote for Lorne Greene in 1956. The sound recordings include parts of radio documentaries Allan did about alcoholism, a radio quiz program he hosted, a broadcast of his play "Willie the Squowse" and unedited interviews he did for a CBC radio program about Piccadilly Circus.

Additional material includes Allan's adaptations of Roger Lemelin's Plouffe family series and extensive files on the children's story "Willie the Squowse", including material for the stage and television versions.

Further additional material includes files on Ted Allan's CBC series "Tales that People Tell", as well as a copy of CBC Playhouse's "Lies My Father Told Me" 1952 and scripts for CBC's "Canadian Family Tree" 1950, as well as other material, including some correspondence.
