Tapes 1-3 and 10-11 show some of the many stages in the tanning of a caribou hide such as the flesh stripped from the underside of the hide, the hair removed and the lengthy process of scraping the hide which has been laced into a large wooden framework. Also includes segments depicting the construction of a rabbitskin coat using narrow strips of rabbitskin woven on a wooden frame (tapes 4-9).
