Series consists of papers of John Savage and son-in-law Hezekiah Wood concerning settlement and development of Shefford township. These include correspondence, receipts, notes, accounts etc. and deal with land acquisition, church, school, militia and Savage's personal history. 20th century correspondence covers Shefford township and Savage family history.
