In 1898 the Quebec, Ottawa, Victoria, Montreal and McGill hockey clubs withdrew from the Amateur Hockey Association of Canada and formed the Canadian Amateur Hockey League (C.A.H.L.). Series consists of minutes of annual and executive meetings and schedules of games for each year. The accounts of the C.A.H.L. are contained in the Treasurer's Book, 1898-1907, and include expenses for trips to games, normal business expenses, delegates expenses to Amateur Athletic Association meetings, annual dues and the cost of trophy engraving. The constitution of several hockey clubs are also included, as are the names of various other clubs. The C.A.H.L. was disbanded in 1907. Volume 6 available on microfilm, reels H-1870 to H-1871.
