Sub-series consists of records relating to the conception, development, writing, editing and publishing of Timothy Findley's collected short stories. The sub-series variously contains notes, drafts (including typescripts), manuscripts, and final versions related to the short stories published in the following collections: Dinner Along the Amazon (1984); Stones (1988); and Dust to Dust (1997). The sub-series also includes typescripts of an unpublished collection submitted to Macmillan in 1971, as well as radio adaptations of the following stories from Stones: 'Almeyer's Mother'; 'Bragg and Minna'; and 'The Sky'. The short story, 'Memorial Day', originally intended for Dust to Dust but not published, is also included. There are four photographs that relate to the story 'Foxes' and are stored with the textual materials (vol. 199).
