Forbidden Plateau Lodge on Vancouver Island was owned by Mr. and Mrs. Chambers for several years. Views are seen of: the Lodge; George McLean and Steve with Rosie; taking a party on horseback us Clearing Trail; views from the lookout of Flower and McKenzie Meadow. Seventy-nine-year-old Sir Theodore Chambers and George McLean arriving at Kiwai Lake. Views of: Mount Albert Edward; Kiwai Lake; bringing in the horses; Meadow Lake; the summit of Mount Brook looking down onto Circle Lake; Kiwai Lake looking at Castle Crag; Lake Beautiful; Mary Lake; Sir Theodore Chambers in Cruikshank Canyon; T.G.S. Chambers; swimming in Kiwai Lake; a pack train; fireweed above the Lodge; and the Victoria Light Car Club. Winter scenery in mountains. Footage of : a ski slope, a barn, and icicles on the Lodge roof. Jim Gilles is seen giving a ski lesson. A government bulldozer is seen clearing snow. Footage of: Bob and Sir Theodore Chambers; T.G.S. Chambers and Sir Theodore on Mount Beecher; sunset from the Lodge, a parade in the main street of Courtenay; and the view from the Lodge over the Strait.
