Petition from the Wesleyan Methodist Ministers of Quebec regarding the keeping of church registers, 1839; two letters from Lieutenant-Colonel John By, 1827 and 1832, concerning the Rideau Canal; and, a petition of the Huron Indians against the claims of other tribes to their lands (Originals, 16 pages). Acquired in 1934.

Petition from the MacNab Friendly Society to Sir John Colborne, regarding their attempt to purchase their freedom from the Laird of MacNab, 1830 (Photocopy, 2 pages). Copied from originals owned by Mr. Norman McLachlin, Arnprior, Ontario.

Letters, 1834-1841, from various individuals seeking favours, 1834-1841 including one from John Beverly Robinson, 1839, reporting on a meeting with Lord Durham and British attitudes toward Canada. (Photocopies, 34 pages). Copied in 1966 from originals in the possession of Mrs. John C. McDonald, Canton, Ohio.

Letters from Francis Jeune, 8 September 1829, and Nicholas Cary, 26 May 1829 to Sir John Colborne (Photocopies, 6 pages). Copied in 1987 from the originals in the Pembroke College Library, Oxford University.
