Collection search - Bank of Montreal fonds [textual record (some microform)]

The fonds was acquired beginning in 1927 when the specimen signature register was received from the Bank of Montreal's London Office. The resolve books and minute books were microfilmed in 1955 and 1986. The New York Agency correspondence, the letterbooks, and account books were received in 1957 from the Bank of Montreal. The telegraphic code book was received from the Estate of Robert Reford in 1977. The head office circulars were received from the Estate of David Brown via Bruce Hosking in 1998.

The resolve books and minute books were microfilmed from originals held by the Bank of Montreal.

Volumes 6 and 7 are available on microfilm, reels C-734 and C-735. Researchers must use the microfilm.
