Canadian Association of Law Libraries : The Canadian Association of Law Librarians (C.A.L.L.) was founded in 1961 with the meeting of interested law librarians at the American Association of Law Libraries meeting in Boston. C.A.L.L. became a formal chapter of A.A.L.L. in 1963. In 1973 they formed a separate association and were incorporated in 1981. The head office is in Toronto and the chief executive officer is the President.

The object of the Association is to promote the profession of law librarianship, to improve the usefulness of law libraries and to foster co-operation among law libraries by providing a forum for meetings of those in the profession.

A newsletter is published five times a year and the Annual Proceedings once a year.
