Brooks, Samuel, 1793-1849 : Member of the Legislative Assembly

Samuel Brooks was born in Haverhill, N.H. He married Elizabeth Toole and lived for a short time in Newbury, Vt. Later he lived in Lennoxville, Que. where he was extensively interested in trade and agriculture. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly representing Sherbrooke.
