Collection consists of a transcript of a petition and supporting documents submitted by Captain Le Lièvre to Lord Liverpool, First Lord of the Treasury in 1826 for arrears in salary and allowance for the period, 1793-1816; and Brevet of Le Lievre, naval commission, photographs, 1786, 1803.

Le Lievre, Francis Tito, d.1830 : Francis Tito Le Lievre retired on half pay as captain of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment of Fencibles by July 1827 at which time he appears to have taken up residence at Elm Grove near Perth, Upper Canada. In 1818, he had petitioned for land in Perth so it is quite likely that he made his permanent residence there. He died at Pointe Claire, Lower Canada on 25 September 1830 at the age of 76.
