The program is a tribute to Canadian naturalist Jack Miner and his family. It also looks at the Canada Goose. Jack Miner died in 1944 but his three sons, Manly, Jasper and Ted, have kept the farm going. The Miner sanctuary is the feeding and resting haven for thousands of wild Canada Geese during their spring and fall migration flights. The program includes voice recordings of Jack Miner as well as film and photographs of him.
