Fonds consists of the following series: personal papers; community affairs; legal series; legal cases.

Fonds also contains photographs, 1934-1970, depicting the Canadian Bar Association dinner honouring Rt. Hon. Sir William Mulock, Royal York Hotel, Toronto, 19 January 1934; meetings of the Province of Ontario Joint Committee on Legal Aid, Toronto, March 1964, photos by the Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star; reunions of the Osgoode Hall Class of 1921, Toronto, 1934 and 1966; Isadore Levinter and friends at the annual meeting of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, Boca Raton, Florida, 1968.

Levinter, Isadore, 1898-1980 : Isadore Levinter, barrister, solicitor, was born in 1898 at Toronto, Ont. After graduating from Harbord Collegiate in 1915 he entered Osgoode Hall Law School, graduating in 1921. He entered private practice and soon established a reputation as a trial advocate and expert in compensation for expropriation of lands, negligence and insurance law. He was appointed King's Counsel in January 1937.

Isadore Levinter was elected the first Jewish Bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada in April 1956. An active participant in the affairs of the Society, he helped to establish Legal Aid in Ontario. He served on the Legal Aid Committee of the Society including a period as its chairman. He was a founder of The Advocates' Society, Toronto in 1965 and was made a Life Member in 1979.

Isadore Levinter was an active member of Beth Tzedec Congregation, Toronto for many years. He was on the first Board of Governors in 1952 and served as its president, 1969-1970. In the aftermath of Rabbi Stuart E. Rosenberg's dispute with Beth Tzedec in the early 1970s, he joined Shaarei Tefillah Congregation.
