Fonds consists of a minute book which contains minutes of the meetings of the Bureau's Board of Directors. Meetings were held monthly and then semi-annually. The minutes are brief and reveal little about the Bureau's activities.

Photographs depict the founders of the Douglas Social Credit Bureau of Canada: Honorary President C.H. Douglas, President R.L. Duclos, Jean E. McJanet, H.E.M. Kensit, O.E. Culbert, E.W. Harrold, Alvarez Pereira, and Harry Hands; a panorama of the participants at the provincial meeting of Quebec in La Porte Saint-Jean, 18 June 193,9 including Ralph L. Duclos, Nap. Vezina, E. Greguire, P.O. Dubé, L. Even, G. Côté, J. Blackmore, Hon. L. Maynard, M.I. Dion, A. Turpin, and E. Howe.

The Douglas Social Credit Bureau of Canada : The Douglas Social Credit Bureau of Canada was founded in 1937 by a small group of Ottawa residents. Its purpose was to promote and spread the economic principles of Social Credit as advocated by Major C.H. Douglas. The Bureau eschewed political action in favour of an educational approach.

Ralph L. Duclos, an insurance broker, was elected the first president of the Bureau, a position that he held until 1947 when the organization seems to have folded. Although the Bureau was authorized by its federal charter to open branches throughout Canada, there is no indication that it ever expanded beyond its head office in Ottawa.
