Collection consists of selections from Army and Navy Papers concerning pay of thirty Lieutenants sent in 1711 to New York as Ensigns, plus six items regarding transport ships lost prior to 1712 on the Expedition to Quebec and includes references to the Neptune, 1715. There are also selections from Trading and Colonial papers including seven contemporary copies of tracts on the topics of naval stores, waste of wood and cost of British forces in Nova Scotia and New England, a note on boundaries, and a paper on "A Scheme to Increase the Colonies & Commerce in the Colonies" [y Andrew Dobbs], microfilm, 1726-1733. This material is located on microfilm reel A-1645.
