Fonds consists of a memorandum from Squadron Leader Leeroy L. Brown to the Under-Secretary of State for Air, London, entitled "An appreciation on the delivery of aircraft from the U.S. and Canada via the Trans-Atlantic route direct and via Iceland", dated 18 March 1941.

Fonds also contains a map, 1941, entitled Transatlantic air delivery routes.

Received in 1972 from Mrs. J.H. Holley of Beverly Hills, Calif., through the Cartographic and Architectural Archives Division. The entry in the Cartographic accession book for 1972 states that the map was acquired from Mrs. Holley "Through Mr. RW Bradford, Curator, Aviation & Space Division, National Museum of Science & Technology, 1867 St. Laurent Blvd, Ottawa, Ont."
