Chaddock, Frederick Thomas Hopwood, 1886-1968 : Frederick Thomas Hopwood Chaddock was born on 27 November 1886 at Biddulph, Staffordshire, England. He emigrated to Canada 7 May 1907 from Glasgow, Scotland on the liner Cassandra, arriving in Montreal 23 May 1907. He served in the military, training at Camp Borden before serving overseas. Chaddock spent about 23 months in France, then returned to England to Kinsmall Park in North Wales. He was discharged in Toronto. He set up house at Madawaska, Ontario and served as church warden of Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Chaddock died 31 January 1968 and was buried in the Anglican Cemetery at Madawaska.
