Fonds consists of correspondence, biography, notes for his book Ukrainian Antiquity, as well as essays on the history of nomadic tribes in Ukraine, ancestry and beliefs of Ukrainians, and notes on Ukrainian grammar and literature.

Crath, Paul, 1882-1952 : Paul Crath, Presbyterian minister, born in 1882 at Poltava, Ukraine, came to Canada in 1907, attended St. Andrew's Theological College in Saskatoon, and was ordained a minister of the Presbyterian Church, in 1917. A most dynamic and controversial figure, Crath espoused a belief in human dignity, civil rights, and cultural self-expression.

In 1923, Crath returned to western Ukraine as a missionary and was responsible in part, for establishing the Ukrainian Evangelical Reformed Church in Galicia, in 1925. In 1938, he returned to Canada. He worked for several years on his book Ukrainian Antiquity, but unfortunately, ill health prevented him from finishing it. Crath died December 25, 1952.
