Collection consists of genealogical, historical, and biographical notes concerning the Hall Family of Ontario, Manitoba and British Columbia, and covering the years ca. 1840 to 1978; charts showing the descendants of Thomas Wellington Hall (1847-1911), Jessie Jane Hall (1876-1961), James Wesley Hall (1878-1965), Frederick Milford Hall(1880-1950), and Ernest Wilbur Hall (1882-1919). Photocopies, 36 pages.

Hall (family) : Thomas Wellington Hall (1847-1911), whose parents immigrated to Canada in the early 1840's from Ireland, was born on the family farm in Cavan Township, Ont. The family later moved to a farm some twenty miles east of Owen Sound, Ont. where Thomas was ordained as a Methodist Minister in 1871.

In 1872, Thomas married Mary Jane Cole (1848-1915) and they had seven sons and one daughter. In his capacity as a Methodist Minister, many moves between church postings took them across Canada to British Columbia where his final posting was in the Carman Church of Sardis in the Lower Fraser Valley of British Columbia.
