National Cancer Institute of Canada : The National Cancer Institute of Canada was established in 1947 to support fundamental research in cancer, the training of scientists, professional education, and the co-ordination of provincial cancer control. The Institute has 25 members representing professional health agencies, Canadian universities and the Canadian Cancer Society and 15 members at large.
