Collection consists of microfilmed records: business and legal papers of Johann Ploss, an early settler in the Eastern Townships, 1778-1823; three newspapers, 1812-1813, 1837; the register of the Rousseau Hotel, Muskoka Lakes, 1878-1880, and extracts from George Monteith's diary of a trip to Baffin Island 1912. The collection also contains a copy of a plan of the town of Phillipsburg, [ca. 1800]. This material is located on microfilm reel M-3203.
