Fonds consists of microfilmed minute books, 1869-1924, microfilm reels M-175 to M-178. Includes minutes of directors' and general shareholders' meetings, 20 volumes (nos. 2-21: book 1, 1855-1869 is missing); indexes are found with the minutes. Also includes an auditor's report prepared by Creak, Cushing and Hodgson, Chartered Accountants, for the year ending 30 October 1924, 7 pages.

Molson's Bank : Molson's Bank was constituted under the "Free Banking Act" passed by the Parliament of the Province of Canada in 1850 (13-14 Vic., Cap. 21). To extend its powers and increase its capitalization, the bank was incorporated in 1855 (18 Vic., Cap. 202) and granted a charter enabling it to conduct business in the same manner as other banks. It continued in operation until 1925, when it was absorbed by the Bank of Montreal.
