This sub-series of correspondence consists mainly of letters received by Pierre E. Trudeau. The subseries is divided into two subsets.

1: Correspondence in chronological order: 1920-1982 (alphabetical order by category), volumes 40-42.
This set includes invitation cards, greeting cards and letters from occasional correspondents.

2: Correspondence in alphabetical order: 1921-1979 volumes 43-54.
This set of Pierre Elliott Trudeau's correspondence includes, in alphabetical order, over 3,000 letters from more than 300 correspondents. Correspondents include family members, friends, business colleagues, intellectuals, travel acquaintances and celebrities.
