McIntyre, Alfred E., 1892?-1912 : Dr. Alfred E. McIntyre of Saint John, N.B., was educated at Glasgow University and University of Jena (PhD. 1900). He spent some time as an analyst chemist in Saint John, later was a professor at Morrin College, Que., and at one time he was on the editing staff of the Saint John Telegraph. In June 1903, he was appointed analyst, Dominion Arsenal, Quebec. The Canadian men and women of the time: a handbook of Canadian biography of living characters / edited by Henry James Morgan. 2nd ed. Toronto : W. Briggs, 1912.
