File consists of a letter from the art dealer Avrom Isaacs to Bill Lyall at Canadian Arctic Co-operatives Federation, with an attached newspaper clipping titled "Native artists to open city store" by Linda Goyette. The letter concerns a perceived criticism of private dealers in the newspaper clipping, accusing them of profiting disproportionately off of Inuit artists. In the letter, Isaacs warns Lyall that continued criticisms from CAP and its affiliates would likely lead to a negative dealer reaction and economic consequences for the industry. The letter was also copied to: Richard Leitch/Canadian Arctic Producers; The Professional Art Dealers Association of Canada; The Innuit Gallery of Eskimo Art; Virginia Watt of the Eskimo Arts Council; Mr. Gunther Abrahamson, Assistant Chief, Canada Dept. of Indian and Northern Affairs.
