This accession consists of records related to subject such as: Dollar Coin, Millenium Coin, Certifications letters on sets of weights, briefing books for the chairperson of the Board and briefing for various ministers.

The accession also contains technical drawings of various machines used to produce mint (1904-1940) and of various coins (1972-1981).

The accession also contains photographs on subjects such as the Canada Dollar and Duke of Edinburgh's visit.

The accession also contains design proofs for a pamphlet and poster related to a Royal Canadian Mint collection for the Bank of China.

Two portfolios, each containing 7 pamphlets published by the Royal Canadian Mint, "The adventures of Zachary and Penny Money : based on the 1999 millennium coins" and "Les aventures de Nathalie et Zacharie Monet: basées sur les pièces du millénaire de 1999" were removed from the accession and transferred to the national library collection.
