Sub-series consists of numbered and unnumbered (private or confidential) despatches and enclosures received by the governor-in-Chief from the Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada. A variety of subjects are discussed. The documents are arranged chronologically. Volume 1 contains one despatch dated 15 February 1821 which is not described in Parker's Guide.
