Collection consists of documentaries and short subjects on life in Hudson's Bay trading posts in the early 1930s, on Calgary in 1928, on banff and on Fort McLeod celebrting its 50th anniversary in 1923. One documenary records the activities on a Stoney Indian reserve. Also included is a theatrical trailer entitled All over the world which was created to solicit funds for the Red Cross during World War II.

Collection also consists of 4 copy photographs. One depicts a house being drawn across the prairie, 1931; 1 depicts the Post Office at Riverbow, Alta., 1931; 1 depicts both the Post Office and a ferry at Riverbow, Alta., 1931; and, one depicts Riverbow Postmaster William Arthur Levett, and a pet, at Riverbow, Alta., 1940.

Glenbow-Alberta Institute : The Glenbow-Alberta Institute is a provincial heritage institution located in Calgary, Alta. It was founded in 1954 as the Glenbow Foundation and re-incorporated in 1966, by an act of the provincial legislature, as the Glenbow-Alberta Institute. By the late 1970's, the name Glenbow Museum became generally used, the name Glenbow-Alberta Institute being retained for legal purposes.
