Canadian International Development Agency. Bilateral Food Aid Program : The Bilateral Food Aid Programme was responsible for arranging for contracts for purchase and delivery of various food substances and small machinery and equipment required to fill Canadian International Development Agency projects or programmes operating in a specific country. During the 1986-87 fiscal year Canadian Developmental Assistance administered through CIDA sponsored programmes included bilateral aid, valued at 56.0 million, for 1,000 projects in 105 countries and bilateral food aid, valued at 11.0 million, given to 16 organizations, operating 35 projects in 45 countries.
