Holy Ghost Parish (Winnipeg, Man. : Roman Catholic) Church : Holy Ghost Parish, founded in 1899, is the oldest Polish Roman Catholic parish in Western Canada. In the early twentieth century it served as a base of operations for Oblate missionaries working in Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and the north-western United States. In its early years the parish also served other Roman Catholics of East European origin.

The original material was received in 1975 by Rev. Zygmunt Musielski, O.M.I. Microfilm reel M-4409 was copied from originals held by the Archives of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, Toronto, Ont. Photocopies of the baptismal certificates were microfilmed in 1987.
