Oronhyatekha, 1841-1907 : "Burning Cloud" Oronhyatekha, or Peter Martin, physician, was born at Six Nations Reserve near Brantford. He was educated at Wesleyan Academy, Mass.; Kenyon College, Ohio; Oxford University; and the University of Toronto. He practised medicine at Frankfort, Stratford, Napanee and London. He became Supreme Chief Ranger of the Independent Order of Foresters, 1881-1907. He was the author of History of the Independent Order of Foresters, 1894.
