The fonds also contains photographs of Wilfrid Laurier, waterfront improvements at Brockville, Ont., and a copy of a photograph of George Perry Graham [ca. 1901-1930].Provenance:Additional name(s):Biography/Administrative history:Graham, George Perry, 1859-1943 : George Perry Graham was born in Eganville, Canada West. A journalist, he was manager of the Morrisburg Herald, 1880-1892, associate editor of the Ottawa Free Press, 1892-1893, and managing director of the Brockville Recorder until 1926. Graham was a Liberal Member of the Ontario Legislative Assembly, 1898-1907, serving as Provincial Secretary, 1904-1905, and Leader of the Opposition, 1907. He was a Member of the House of Commons, 1907-1911, 1912-1917 and 1921-1925, and of the Senate, 1926-1943. He served as Minister of Railways and Canals, 1907-1911, 1923-1926, Minister of Militia and Defence, 1921-1922, and Minister without portfolio, 1926.
