Canadian Political Science Association : The Canadian Political Science Association was founded in 1913 to encourage the investigation of economic, political and social problems in Canada. It did not meet during WWI, nor for some some years after, and was revived and reorganized in 1929. For five years the Association published an annual volume of Papers and Proceedings. From 1935 to 1967, it produced the quarterly Canadian Journal of Economics and Political Science.

In 1967, the economic section withdrew from the C.P.S.A. to form a separate association. The Canadian Political Science Association/Association canadienne de science politique continues to exist and publishes the Canadian Journal of Political Science/Revue canadienne de science politique.
