Collection consists of a list and description of persons emigrating from Kettlestone parish to Sherbrooke Township, with account, 1836, 3 pages; copies of emigration circulars issued by the Poor Law Commissioners for England to govern the sponsoring of emigration by the poor, with copies of related correspondence, resolutions of the overseers and churchwardens of Heacham parish, lists of emigrants, and accounts, 1835-1838, 43 pages; and copies of two broadsides of agents for emigration, 1852, 4 pages.
