Some posters were designed by Michael Steadman, Richard Gustin, and Bob Howard. Textual material consists of news releases; annual reports, 1967-1968, 1969-1970, 1970-1971; printed material and programmes.Provenance:Additional name(s):Biography/Administrative history:Globe Theatre : The Globe Theatre was Saskatchewan's first professional theatre company, established in 1966. It is now the province's largest performing arts organization. The company is housed in a designated heritage site in Regina, the Prince Edward Building. Their mission is "to entertain, educate and engage Saskatchewan people in the art of professional theatre by offering high-quality performances to audiences, professional theatre training for artists, and classes for children as well as adults."
The Globe Theatre Society is a not-for-profit organization; it was the first educational theatre company in Saskatchewan. In 2006, it launched The Globe Theatre School, which included educational programs and classes for young people. Since then, the educational initiatives have expanded to include an internship program with the University of Regina Faculty of Fine Arts, an actor conservatory training program, and workshop programs for theatre enthusiasts of all ages.Additional information:General note:Received in 1971 from the Globe Theatre and from Mrs. M.
