Canadian War Services Fund : The Canadian War Services Fund Inc. was established early in 1941 for the purpose of raising funds by means of a united appeal for several organizations which were providing auxiliary war services. A campaign was undertaken in 1941, but the following year the Dominion Government assumed the responsibility of financing the auxiliary war services of the organizations concerned.
