This closing portion of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's live coverage of the 1963 federal election is anchored by Norman Depoe and Bruce Marsh from the election central desk in Ottawa. Reviews of national results as they arrive, Ottawa area riding results, bulletins on particular ridings across the country, and commentary, alternate with video reports from other areas, interviews and a statement from Progressive Conservative Prime Minister Diefenbaker. Provincial reports and analyses are by: Kingsley Brown in Halifax, Nova Scotia; James M. From Studio 1 in Toronto, Howard Sommerville interviews Patrick Cameron, Liberal winner in the riding of High Park, Toronto. When returns indicate that the Liberal Party will from the next government, Prime Minister Diefenbaker makes a statement from his riding in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, expressing regret that no party has a majority of seats.
