Wright, William Jonathan, 1874-1917 : Lieut. William Jonathan Wright, soldier, was born 14 November 1874, in W. Toors Township in Oxford County, Ontario. He became a school teacher; his wife was from St. Mary's Ontario, and he served in the 28th Perth Regiment. He enlisted at Stratford, 5 May 1916, in the 110th Battalion, was transferred to the 19th Battalion, 26 October 1916, and attached to the 4th Canadian Trench Morter Battery, 4 May 1917. He was killed in action at Hill 70, 18 August 1917.
