Two young people, Angela Fusco and John Kastner, visit the Chateau de Ramezay in Montreal and report on two of its former occupants, Claude Ramezay and Lord Elgin. Aerial shots of Montreal with sequences inside the museum itself where John explores the Indian room and discovers an Iroquois war club. Angela looks at various artifacts in the Chateau's kitchen and examines a desk previously owned by Sir Guy Carleton. She recounts the later history of the house including its American and British occupation.
