Reporter Peter Reilly introduces the segment, from the stage of the Stratford Festival tent. He then interviews the Festival's managing director Peter Bennett. There is part of an interview with artistic director Michael Langham. Langham talks about the 1956 season and remarks that no two directors will approach a play the same way. He also comments on the use of French-Canadian actors in the production of the play Henry V. Langham ends the interview because he is due to direct a rehearsal of the Merry Wives of Windsor.
